Samsung Bixby, the all new AI by Samsung is likely to arrive in the all new Note 8 mobiles though the smart phone maker is yet to confirm the development. Ever since Samsung acquired Viv Labs, rumors about a new AI have been doing the rounds.
As for the features of this new AI, there is not much clarity. However, there is a possibility that this new AI will get a button of its own. This would indeed be a first of its kind initiative by Samsung.
Another feature that is likely to impress fans is that Bixby Vision will be able to use the Samsung S8 camera for visual searches and text recognition as well. In the past, users have seen standalone apps with similar filtering abilities but Bixby Vision works differently.
Samsung Bixby is one of the biggest features to be introduced by the smartphone maker. From the looks of it, the smartphone maker is keen to bring Bixby in Samsung Note 8. And why not?
There are high expectations from Samsung's upcoming model. The team is hoping that the new phone will help them recover the losses as well as repair the damage caused by the debacle of Note 7.
The report on CNET elaborates that Samsung was forced to stop production of Note 7 after two unrelated battery fire incidents were reported. The incident posed a severe threat to the user leaving Samsung with no choice. Later on Samsung did clarify that it was a battery manufacturing fault and that there was no problem with the phone.
Therefore, in order to help Samsung salvage its lost pride the Note 8 is expected to come out with compelling features like the new AI called Bixby Vision.
The company has already filed a trademark for Bixby Vision further fueling rumors that it is likely to be introduced soon, as reported on Geeky Gadgets. However, users will have to wait a little longer to lay their hands on the new Samsung S8 device.
In its recent announcement, the company made it clear that it was not going to introduce the new model at the upcoming Mobile World congress.
