Another crossover has come into contact with Team Ninja's "Dead or Alive Xtreme 3" and it involves Marvelous Entertainment's "Senran Kagura." Fans will be expecting costumes and bikini themed around the Shounen video game - and they will be quite fragile.
According to Dualshockers, the recent issue of the Weekly Famitsu covered the upcoming DLC for "Dead or Alive Xtreme 3" and, as always, it's very sexy. The entire set "Senran Kagura" DLC will be slated for release next month or so.
So starting tomorrow, we'll be seeing the lovely ladies of "Dead or Alive Xtreme 3" getting their destructible pieces of "Senran Kagura" costumes, while the next sets of "Senran Kagura"-themed malfunctioning bikinis will come around sometime in December.
Around sometime between Feb. 2 and Feb. 15, there will be costumes themed around Valentine's Day. While most of you might think it has something to do with wearing nothing except being coated in chocolate, think again! The girls will actually be wrapped in red silky ribbons.
For those who don't know what "Senran Kagura" is, it's a video game series developed by Tamsoft and produced by Marvelous Entertainment, which revolves around groups of female ninjas and their fun-filled exciting adventures. The series has received several manga adaptations, along with a television anime adaptation produced by Artland that aired in Japan between January and March 2013. In earlier related news, "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" has just received a season pass that involved another set of costumes that were surprisingly modest amongst the waves of consistently baring female outfits the franchise has been receiving for its games.
The "High Society" costume set for "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" is already available earlier this year and will cost at around $93.
The "Senran Kagura" DLC for "Dead or Alive Xtreme 3" is already available at the price of HK$29 for each costume, which translates to a little bit more than $4 USD. The whole set costs HK$196, which is roughly around $25 USD.
