Photos from the set of "Bates Motel" Season 5 teased what could be a happy-ending for Emma and Dylan in the finale. The images hint they live peacefully with a new addition to their family-their daughter.
Casts and crew filmed the finale for "Bates Motel" Season 5 somewhere in downtown Vancouver on Wednesday. Photos then surfaced online showing Dylan (Max Thieriot) and Emma (Olivia Cooke) playing with a little girl.
According to Hollywoodnorth.buzz, the young girl could be Dylan and Emma's daughter. She shows a resemblance to Emma, possibly because of her wavy hair.
The photos show Emma and Dylan looking very happy as they enjoy some quality time together with the little girl. The final shots show them walk away, with Dylan carrying the pink-clad Norma mini-me in his arms. The images do not really reveal much in terms of spoilers for "Bates Motel" Season 5. However, seeing the family's happy faces hint Emma and Dylan have a happy-ending in the series finale.
Meanwhile, filming for the finale of "Bates Motel" Season 5 reportedly also continued in Blarney Stone, a famous Irish pub in Vancouver. Other photos from the set shared on Twitter show a black tent blocking daylight from entering the pub. This was supposedly done to create a nighttime setting. Another image show Emma leaving what appears to be a children's playground with her daughter.
Seeing Dylan and Emma looking happy is a good ending for the couple, especially since they were never meant to be together in the first place. Executive Producer Carlton Cuse previously told Showbiz Junkies that they never planned for Emma and Dylan to become romantically involved. However, as "Bates Motel" progresses, they saw the chemistry between the characters. That was when they decided to make some changes to their storyline and turn them into couples.
