Screenwriters of the famed "James Bond" film franchises said that U.S. President Donald Trump is a real-life Bond villain.

Trump has been the subject of satirical jokes and pop culture references since the election period. Now the Trump presidency is again being named to hold some real-life parallelism to a "James Bond" typical villain. The comparison is now raising eyebrows, Screen Rant reported.

Over the years, the "James Bond" franchise has touched on many real-world issues such as geopolitical shifts and world politics all while maintaining a balance between reality and fantasy. In an interview, "007" screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade said that the parallelism between the film and reality has been blurred by people like U.S. President Donald Trump rising to power, Spy Command reported.

"Each time, you've got to say something about Bond's place in the world, which is Britain's place in the world. But things are moving so quickly now, that becomes tricky. With people like (U.S. President Donald) Trump, the Bond villain has become a reality. So when they do another one, it will be interesting to see how they deal with the fact that the world has become a fantasy."

Many of Bond's enemies in the films had been depicted as very wealthy men with colorful personalities. They usually have a taste for unusual décor and larger than life personas.

Elsewhere, the next "Bond" film is confirmed to be titled as "James Bond 25." The film is reportedly gaining traction and a few actors including actor Tom Hardy, wants in on the project, Screen Rant reported.

Hardy is reportedly interested to join the film with Christopher Nolan. He said in an interview that Daniel Craig and Sam Mendes have both set the standards high and would be a tough act to follow. However, he opined that Nolan will be a fantastic director for a "Bond" film and can bring something new to the franchise.
