It isn't over until it's over for the highest rated tvN drama, "Goblin," as Gong Yoo revealed they are going to treat their supporters with two special episodes.
Soompi reported the two special episodes will give the fans a sneak peek of the drama's behind-the-scene cuts, funniest moments, interviews and more about their favorite cast members.
Ahead of the release, "Goblin" dropped two trailers of the special episodes featuring Gong Yoo who said, "Everyone, your "Goblin" days are not yet over...And I thought it was all finished. This is perplexing."
In the second trailer, the Grim Reaper himself asked the Goblin if the outtakes will be shown for the special episodes. Lee Dong Wook was answered by Gong Yoo by saying that everything will be released for the fans.
"Goblin" is set to release two special episodes on Feb. 3 and 4 at 6:40 pm KST.
The Gong Yoo starrer fantasy series has set a new record for highest rated tvN drama after airing its final episode last Jan. 21. According to Allkpop, the 16th episode of "Goblin" earned an average of 20.5 percent for cable channels, surpassing the figures of "Reply 1988."
Not only that, the drama has also captured the interest of international viewers. In fact, many start-up sites have engaged in selling "Goblin" merchandise to meet the demands.
An industry representative said "Goblin" photos, mugs and postcards are some of the most in demand products from the consumers. "Even merchandise featuring fake Gong Yoo autographs have been popping up, demonstrating the fans' passion for the drama," it added.
Previously, "Goblin" released their OST album that contains 16 songs, including "Stay With Me" by Chanyeol and Punch, "Beautiful" by Crush, and "I Will Go To You Like The First Snow" by Ailee.
Reports claimed the complete package comes with two CDs intended for songs and instrumentals. Aside from that, the album also contains Gong Yoo's narration from the drama.
