JYP released a single teaser image on TWICE's next comeback, titled "Knock Knock," with no further details except for the release date, which is Feb. 20.
The teaser features orange and yellow as its primary colors, with a quirky image of a door and speech balloons saying "Knock Knock," Allkpop reported. Not more information is known about their next comeback, but it's likely that the composer for the title track is Black Eyed Pilseung, who is responsible for crafting TWICE's hits such as their latest release "TT," "Cheer Up," and "Like OOH-AHH."
"Knock Knock" is set to be another bestseller, given how explosive TWICE's fandom grew from last year. TWICE has enjoyed a very successful 2016 with their iconic songs "Cheer Up" and "TT," having won awards thanks to their last two album releases. "Twicecoaster: Lane 1" was the highest-selling girl group album in 2016, while "Page Two" was also a commercial success having sold more than 80,000 copies.
JYP seems to be capitalizing the momentum TWICE has going on for them right now, as last Jan. they came in second for brand reputation rankings, as per Soompi. It makes sense for the girl group to make their comeback while their names are going on strong.
It seems that the start of the year is a very busy period for JYP's girl group as ONCEs can look forward not only in the "Knock Knock" album release but also in the 6th Gaon K-pop Music Awards, where TWICE is part of the lineup. It looks like the girl group will be collecting another title to their name in the awards show, which will take place on Feb. 22. But before TWICE launches their next round of promotions for their comeback, the girls will have their first solo concert in South Korea from Feb. 17 - 19.
