The latest installment of transforming robots duking it out on earth continues with "Transformers: The Last Knight." Since the movie is just a few months away, plot details of the film were recently announced and it's set to be an epic battle. But this time, the battle is not between the Autobots and Decepticons but between two beloved Autobots.
According to First Showing, Optimus Prime found out that Cybertron is now a dead planet - and it's all his fault. However, he found a way to save his world but it could mean the destruction of earth. The recently released trailers seems to confirm this plot since Optimus Prime is adamant in trying to save Cybertron so much so that he will destroy Bumblebee.
Optimus Prime's decision to save his world also coincides with the recently released plot details according to Screenrant but it's also indicated that the leader of the Autobots is gone. It could mean that Optimus will not appear in the first part of the movie but the challenges Autobots face is due to his decision to help revive Cybertron.
Primus Revealed?
One of the most interesting trailers for "Transformers: The Last Knight" is for their upcoming Super Bowl spot. There's a point where Optimus was asked if he wants to save his planet and he replies, "My Maker, I do."
Although it's not confirmed, one of the biggest Transformer could appear in the film with a subtle change. Primus is known as an ancient being who became the planet Cybertron and the one responsible for bringing Transformers to life.
