SHINee's Minho admitted in a recent interview that his personality used to be different from his character in "Hwarang." However, the idol-turned-actor revealed playing as Suho in the drama has changed him in some ways.
In the ongoing historical drama, Minho takes the role of an aristocrat man who is devoted to love. "I wasn't like that before," the SHINee member said when asked about his role.
He continued, "But now that I've played the character of Suho in "Hwarang," I think I've changed a bit."
According to Soompi, the idol-turned-actor even revealed one factor that will make him fall for a girl, stating that he is attracted with someone who works passionately at their own craft.
Previously, Minho got caught off guard by his mom's request on "48 hours." During a phone conversation, the SHINee member was surprised when his mom asked him to consider dating.
"You're already 27 years old. That's crazy. Next year, try to get a girlfriend," his mom said as per Allkpop.
Minho has been vocal about his ideal relationship even before. The "Hwarang" actor earlier admitted he does not want to feel obligated and calculate things when seeing someone.
"For example, I thought since I didn't get to see my girlfriend for 2 days, I should wait and see her on the 4th day, and I didn't like that," the SHINee member said.
Before he has come to that kind of realization, Minho admitted he used to put love first before anything else. However, the idol's passion towards his craft made him change his perspective on love and work.
Minho then said that he would like to set aside love for now and focus on his career as a singer and actor.
