A few days before "Hwarang" starts airing, cast members Park Seo Joon, Park Hyung Sik, Minhoo, Do Ji Han, Jo Yoon Woo and V sat down to talk about the new series and share their experience during filming.
During the special preview of "Hwarang," the main actors candidly revealed how they took the challenge of filming the nude scene. According to Soompi, the six actors even screamed embarrassment when a sneak peek of the shower scene was shown.
The "Hwarang" actors were in the communal baths when Go Ara's character accidentally walked in and saw them wearing almost nothing. Do Ji Han said they became closer after filming the nude scene, while Park Seo Joon revealed a staff told them they were like from "The Legend of Tarzan."
"No matter what, the nudity was a bit burdensome for me. But before the filming, everyone was working out," V admitted. On the other hand, Park Seo Joon said, "It's to make the viewers' money worth it."
Meanwhile, V confessed he was previously scared of Park Seo Joon, stating that the actor appeared to be difficult to approach, Allkpop cited. However, the BTS member added they got along later on after knowing the co-actor.
"He bought me a lot of meals. He paid for meals every time we got together. This is why I like hyung," V said, making his co-actors agree.
Park See Joon responded, "When I was the younger one, hyungs bought me a lot of food, so now I should pay for younger people."
V takes the role of Han Sung, while Park See Joon plays as Moo Myung/Sun Woo on "Hwarang." The new KBS2 drama started their filming in March and ended in September.
