In less than a week after the official "Banner Saga 3" Kickstarter campaign was launch, the project have reached its first goal. A couple of days later, the developer of the side-scroller game revealed the second and third stretch goals for the final part of the game's trilogy.
The second stretch goal of the "Banner Sage 3" Kickstarter campaign is pegged at $300,000. Should this goal be reached, the game's developer, Stoic Games, will add an additional mode called Survival.
The third stretch goal of the game will be reached once pledges reach $350,000. This third stretch goal will feature the return of one of the most loved characters in the "Banner Saga" story, Udin, who left the player's banner during the second part of the game in order to head into the southern grassland area of Dalaond, according to Dual Shockers.
According to VG24/7, Stoic has yet to confirm the official release date of the "Banner Saga 3" game. The game studio is currently focusing into the completion of its Kickstarter campaign, and will most probably start working on the final part of the trilogy once the campaign is closed off.
Currently, "Banner Saga 3" is only listed as a game for the PC and Mac platforms. However, Stoic have confirmed in the past they are working to release the final part of the game into other platforms as well. This should come as no surprise since the last two games in the series were released on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Android, and iOS platforms.
