Players of the "World of Warcraft" will be glad to know that WoW Tokens can be redeemed for Battle.net Balance funds. The Balance funds is a new digital currency that Blizzard came up with that can also be used to purchase content for other of the studio's supported games.
According to the official website of "World of Warcraft," players can visit an actual Auction House in-game with the option of purchasing said tokens - or just pay $20 USD real world cash. With that feature at hand, they can choose to add an additional 30 days of play time to their account or redeem it to their Battle.net Balance and transfer $15 USD to their account. The amount varies for each region.
Players can utilize the Battle.net Balance to purchase other "World of Warcraft" services, some of which include character transfers, including items, mounts and pets. As mentioned above, these special funds can also extend to Blizzard's other hit games such as "Overwatch." With those, they can allow players to purchase in-game items, like the loot boxes in "Overwatch."
Eurogamer reports that this update, however, has caused the Auction Houses prices of WoW Tokens to increase. The average sale price went from an estimate of110,000 gold to nearly 160,000 gold in European servers. For the servers in the US, on the other hand, the prices increased from around 60,000 gold to about 90,000 gold.
For the review on the "World of Warcraft's" latest expansion "Legion," it has gotten a lot of positive feedback with its cinematic cutscenes, better socialization, more world zones, the new Demon Hunter class, and more. "Legion" brings back the story-telling element of when the world of Azeroth brings back the uneasy allegiance of the Horde and Alliance as they combat against the destructive forces of the Burning Legion.
