Followers of Lee Hong Ki were shocked when the idol started an Instagram live on Wednesday, where he bluntly announced that he has broken up with Han Bo Reum.
According to Koreaboo, Lee Hong Ki appeared to be drunk when he did the broadcast. In the video, the FTISLAND member officially said that he is now single three months after announcing his relationship with Han Bo Reum.
"Finally I can say to you guys, I don't have a girlfriend. You know, it's true. I'm alone. I'm alone. So I'm so [explicit] sad....I'm not drunk. Broke Up. This is true...I'm alone," he said in English.
After the broadcast, Lee Hong Ki and Han Bo Reum's respective agencies confirmed breakup reports, stating that the two idols have grown apart because of their conflicting schedules.
Fans of the celebrity couple expressed their sadness after the breakup announcement. Some of them are even sending their comforting words to Lee Hong Ki for the unfortunate separation.
The couple made their relationship public by verifying dating rumors in November. Sources said Lee Hong Ki and Han Bo Reum started out as close friends before they have decided to take their relationship into the next level.
In an episode of "Lee Hong Ki's Kiss The Radio," the FTISLAND member personally talked about his relationship with Han Bo Reum. Soompi reported the idol admitted he was afraid to say anything about his status, knowing that people will have different views about it.
Although embarrassed, Lee Hong Ki shyly said he was in a relationship that time. He added many people have been showing their support to his relationship with Han Bo Reum.
Previously, Lee Hong Ki and Han Bo Reum have worked together for "Modern Farmer" in 2014. The actress was casted to play as the love interest of the FTISLAND member in the drama series.
