F.T. ISLAND's Lee Hong Ki was rushed to the hospital Sunday after suffering from overfatigue reportedly due to his hectic work schedule. The five-member Korean band has been doing promotions for their sixth album called "Where's The Truth," which was released on July 18.
Aside from promoting F.T. ISLAND's sixth album, Lee also has been preparing for his upcoming musical called "The Days," Soompi reported. On Aug. 7, the 26-year-old vocalist failed to join his band and their fans for their final fan meeting, which is part of their promotion of the album; however, Lee was able to greet their fans before he was taken to the hospital.
"Lee Hong Ki has sung live throughout all their performances in the past three weeks. With the addition of his musical rehearsals at the same time, it appears that he is suffering from accumulated fatigue," FNC Entertainment said in a dispatch.
Meanwhile, it seems that Lee does not want his fans to worry about him as the F.T. ISLAND vocalist posted a message to his fans alongside photo of him. He captioned, "Good work during the three weeks of our promotions. I'm going to disappear for a little bit. Don't come looking for me. I'll get mad."
