BIGBANG has come a long way and is now ready to give back to their fans through an exhibition. The five-member Korean boy band has opened "BIGBANG Exhibition A to Z" to celebrate their 10th year in the music industry.
According to Korea Joongang Daily, fans will get the chance to take a look back on some of the highlights of BIGBANG's journey through videos, music and memorabilia. "We decided to work on the exhibition after thinking hard about how we can spend our 10th anniversary with the fans," Taeyang said.
Meanwhile, Seungri added the exhibition will feature the ups and downs they have encountered as a group. BIGBANG also revealed they have personally designed "BIGBANG Exhibition A to Z," instead of relying on pros.
G-Dragon shared his favorite section of the exhibition is the "BIGBANG TREE," where he sling stuff he has used while filming for music videos, including shoes and clothes. He even added most of these things remind him of the past.
On the other hand, G-Dragon added it pleases them when juniors get inspired with their music. He even revealed BIGBANG looked up to seniors and got influenced by them when the band was just starting out.
"Frankly speaking, we look at the people who are debuting now and think we can learn something from them. If there's something to learn, we learn it and if there's something bad, we fix it and we try to become stronger," G-Dragon said, as quoted by Soompi.
BIGBANG debuted on August 19, 2006 with the release of their self-titled album, which sold over 48,000 copies. For their first ten years, BIGBANG has released three Korean albums and five Japanese albums. As part of their 10th year celebration, a documentary film about BIGBANG's journey was released on June 30 in South Korea and Japan.
