CW's "Supergirl" and "Flash" will be joining for a musical project on March 20 and everybody is talking about Melissa Benoist's (Supergirl) costume. It sparked excitement after the actress posted on Twitter how shock she is on how amazing it looks.
According to Comic Book, there is no picture posted by Benoist but she tweeted it with such intriguing words like, "No pics for now, but just WOW!" The word on the street is that Supergirl will have a completely different costume from the ones that she was using on TV.
This is not the first time that Benoist will be showcasing her talent in singing and dancing. For those who could remember, she actually played the role of Marley Rose on Fox's "Glee." She was among the newest members of William McKinley High School's glee club in the show.
It will be interesting to watch Benoist singing and dancing again but only this time, while also kicking butts and doing stunts as Supergirl. Grant Gustin is also a part of this musical since it also features "The Flash." For those who are not aware, Gustin was also a part of "Glee."
Screen Rant reported that Darren Criss, also a Glee alum, will also join the two in this one-of-a-kind superhero musical crossover. He will play the role of Music Meister, a character inspired by Neil Patrick-Harris. Other actors who are expected in this musical are Broadway gems like Jeremy Jordan (SMASH), Carlos Valdes (The Flash), Jesse L. Martin (RENT), Victor Garber and John Barrowman (Legends of Tomorrow).
David Harewood and Chris Wood from "Supergirl" will also be here but fans won't witness them sing. It is going to be an interesting twist to the story now that music and dancing are part of the whole superhero act.
