Leah Remini has guested in the HBO show of Bill Maher, "Real Time with Bill Maher". Remini, an actress was a former Scientologist. She has left the church of Scientology in the year 2013.
In the interview, Remini has said to Maher that Tom Cruise has the power to end Scientology, to which Maher agreed. Maher himself has released a documentary film "Religulous" in 2008. Remini has watched Maher's documentary "Religulous" when she was still with the cult.
This actress said she watched it even though they are prohibited to do so, Deadline Hollywood reported. But she did it anyways because she is a troublemaker. Remini has now a reality series, "Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath".
She said has been admiring Nicole Kidman, the ex-wife of Tom Cruise. Kidman left the Scientology church after breaking up with Cruise. There have been reports that the cause of the end of their marriage was Scientology itself.
Meanwhile, Remini appreciate Kidman because she left the church with such grace. On the other hand, the same cause of the breakup of between Cruise and Katie Holmes was the church as well.
Scientology is a cult. Scientology has even churches around the world including in Spain and Tokyo, Japan.
Remini revealed that in the Scientology parking lot, what she could see was shitty old cars. It is because Scientology has been sucking up their money, she revealed.
Scientology is good at manipulating people. They are making its followers do self-brainwashing, Remini said.
The church makes children disconnect from their parents. The Scientology administrators would constantly interview its followers to have them confessed of what they have done.
The Scientology church would always monitor their followers. Anyone who go against their will undergo through inhumane punishments.
One classic example is Nazanin Boniadi. Boniadi is a 36 years old actress who has an Iranian heritage but was raised in London. She moved to Calfornia to study at University of California-Irvine. Boniadi became an actress.
Boniadi was chosen in 2004 to audition to become Cruise's new replacement wife for Kidman. But when she did not make it in the cut, she was punished by scrubbing and cleaning the bathroom toilets with a toothbrush, cleaning the tiles with acid, digging ditches in the middle of the night, and later sent out to hawk and sell Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard's "Dianetics" on street corners. Other famous members of Scientology are Kristie Alley and John Travolta.
