Soon to be first-time father George Clooney has recently sat for an interview with French TV show "Rencontres de Cinema." During the talk, the 55-year-old star shared his excitement on the much-anticipated arrival of his twins with his barrister wife Amal Clooney.
“We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure… We've sort of embraced it all…with arms wide open," the “Argo” producer told the program hosts as quoted by E! Online.
He added: "So, I'm feeling a little better about being 56 by the time [the twins come]".
On the other hand, on his another interview with French publication Paris Match, Clooney revealed the safety precaution that he and his wife is imposing for the safety of her pregnancy, Mail Online reported. According to the actor as quoted by the news agency: 'We decided to be much more responsible, to avoid the danger...I won't go to South Sudan any more or the Congo, Amal will no longer go to Iraq and she'll avoid places where she knows she isn't welcome”.
Clooney began his acting career in 1978 as an extra in the American television miniseries “Centennial” which stars Michael Ansara, Raymond Burr, and Richard Chamberlain. He later rose to fame through his portrayals in award-winning films such as “Syriana” wherein he won ”Best Supporting Actor” award at the prestigious Academy Awards, “The Monuments Men” and “Tomorrowland”.
Before marrying his wife, Clooney has been previously married to American TV and film actress Talia Balsam and was linked to several Hollywood celebrities as well. In 2014, his engagement with British-Lebanese human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin was formally announced to the public. The couple tied the knot September 2014 at the famous Ca' Farsetti in Northern Italy.
