On their recent appearance on KBS variety show “Happy Together”, KPop idols Leeteuk and Shindong of the boy group Super Junior opened up about their terrifying experience during the group’s unforgettable car accident back in 2007.
Leeteuk shared that he had received numerous stitches on his forehead and waist after the tragic encounter. Furthermore, he also revealed how the whole group poured out their concern towards their fellow member Kyuhyun who was severely injured compared to the rest of them.
"It was a rather big accident and I received 30 stitches on the forehead and 150 around my waist. When the emergency responders came, I recall telling the EMTs that, 'I'm fine. Kyuhyun next to me is injured," said Leeteuk as quoted by All KPop.
Shindong also stated: "Eunhyuk and I weren't badly hurt. When Eunhyuk was looking after Kyuhyun and I was looking after Leeteuk, I saw that there was so much blood. When the ambulance came, Leeteuk really was worried about Kyuhyun."
In their past interview, Super Junior members admitted that the accident had taught them a lot of lessons. In fact, Eunhyuk admitted that it was because of the circumstance that he realized how valuable each of his fellow members is.
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Kyuhyun will be having a solo concert titled “An Author's Tale [Epilogue]” at the Blue Square Samsung Card Hall in Seoul on April 1 and 2 this year. According to a report by All KPop, the selling of the tickets will begin on February 28.
Super Junior, also known as SUSU, was formed by label giant S.M. Entertainment in 2005. It is currently composed of 11 members namely Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae. Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.
