"Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" continues to grow in terms of viewership since it started on Feb. 24. But despite their ongoing success, the drama's main cast admitted they never expected that the series would receive so much love from the viewers.
When asked to predict the rating for their pilot episode, Park Hyung Sik revealed he thought "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" would settle at 3 percent. "But after the first episode aired, I checked the ratings and my eyes shot open," the actor said as per Soompi.
He went on, "When I got on set, everyone was happy. We reminded ourselves not to get carried away and to continue working hard."
Park Bo Young, on the other hand, said everyone's mood lighten up after "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" mustered 4.04 percent on its premiere. She added all of them tried to work even harder since then.
Meanwhile, Ji Soo shared filming for "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" has been a learning process for him. "Lately I've been enjoying filming and learning a lot. It's an honor to be able to work with a great production team and experienced actors," he said.
His statement was supported by Park Bo Young who revealed they are often laughing on the set of the tvN drama because of Park Hyung Sik and Ji Soo's hilarious scenes as cited by Allkpop.
From 4.04 percent, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" increased its ratings to 8.7 percent viewership for its latest episode. Reports suggested the figures are deemed high, considering that the comedy series is airing on cable channel.
This week's episodes of the tvN drama will reveal the reason behind Do Bong Soon's superhuman strength. Still cuts from the upcoming episodes also showed Park Bo Young and Park Hyung Sik's moment at an amusement park.
