Although she has taken the stage several times to perform before thousands of fans, Sandara Park admitted filming for "One Step" has given her a different level of anxiety that made her ponder.
On Wednesday, the idol and the rest of "One Step" cast took to Naver to share their experience while filming the upcoming movie.
The Korean remake of Keira Knightley's "Begin Again" serves as Sandara Park's big screen debut; hence, the former 2NE1 member confessed the experience was more "nerve-wracking" than performing onstage.
"I usually performed energetic music when I was in 2NE1, so it was difficult for me to sing for the film because I was showcasing my voice," she said as per Soompi.
Sandara Park continued, "I initially thought it was going to be easy since I had a lot of experience with singing in a recording studio, but as soon as I sang the first line [for the movie], I repented. It was a challenging yet precious experience."
"One Step" follows the story of a woman who lost her memory after an unfortunate accident. The lead character, played by Sandara Park, will try to regain her lost memory through music.
At some point, she will meet a few people who will help her in remembering her past. These characters will be played by Han Jae Suk (Woo Hyuk), Hong Ah Reum (Ji Won), and Cho Dong In (Jee Il).
"One Step" is slated to hit the theaters of Korea on April 6. But even before it premiers, Sandara Park has been casted for yet another big screen project. Allkpop cited the idol-turned-actress is confirmed to play as Jang Bo Ra in the film adaptation of "Cheese in the Trap."
She will be paired with rookie actor Kim Hyun Jin who will take the role of Kwon Eun Taek. "Both Dara and Kim Hyun Jin have been cast in the final lineup," a source confirmed.
The two were even spotted during the first meeting of "Cheese in the Trap" movie alongside other cast members.
