My Hero Academia Season 2 is almost here. The preview for the first episode of season 2 has just been posted on the anime series' official website, providing a sneak peek on what to expect in the upcoming season of last year's anime hit.

Season 2 of My Hero Academia/ Boku no Hero Academia will focus on Class 1-A's participation in the U.A Sports Festival, where a ton of news characters will be introduced.

The series' protagonist Izuku Midoriya (voiced by Daiki Yamashita) returns after he and his classmates at U.A survived a surprised attack from the League of Villains towards the final episodes of Season 1.

Midoriya will continue to prove to other people, especially his childhood rival, Katsuki Bakugou (Nobuhiko Okamoto), that he deserves of becoming a hero despite being originally born quirkless.

Fortunately for him, there's no better platform to show his full potential than the upcoming Sports Festival in front of all U.A students and faculty staffs - including his mentor All Might (Kenta Miyake).

All original casts from Season 1 will return to reprise their respective roles, while new voice actors have been added for the new characters to be introduced in the U.A Sports Festival Saga.

Tetsu Inada as Enji Todoroki/Endeavor, Wataru Hatano as Hitoshi Shinsō, Azu Sakura as Mei Hatsume, Saki Ogasawara as Itsuka Kendō, Kōji Okino as Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, Miho Masaka as Ibara Shiozaki and Kōhei Amasaki as Neito Monoma.

Yousuke Korada and Kenji Nagasaki will continue to assume their jobs at Studio BONES. Karada will be the one in charge for creative writing and script while Nagasaki will remain the series director.

My Hero Academia Season 2 will kick off in Japanese TV with English subtitles on Crunchyroll and Hulu this coming Saturday, April 1. FunimationNow will be streaming the first six dubbed episodes on the same days they broadcast in Japan.
