Seo In Guk barely lasted a week inside the training camp following his release yesterday, March 31, due to ankle injury. In fact, the "Shopaholic Louis" actor only spent four days at the bootcamp before he received the discharge order.
Koreaboo cited the news on Seo In Guk's release was confirmed by his agency, Jellyfish Entertainment, on the same day their artist was ordered to return home. "The cause was from an osteochondral lesion of his left ankle," the label said.
It added, "It was confirmed initially prior to his enlistment but his detailed physical condition will be confirmed at a later date."
Jellyfish Entertainment stated Seo In Guk tried his best to fulfill his military duty. But given his current condition, the actor will have to delay his service for a while before he can enlist again.
"In the future, we will receive a follow-up physical examination at the local military office and will carry out his service according to the result," the agency ended the dispatch.
The 29-year-old actor quietly enlisted at a training camp in Gyeonggi Province last Thursday. Allkpop cited Seo In Guk personally decided for a quiet enlistment for a five-week basic training in Gyeonggi Province before he can actually serve as an army soldier.
After he confirmed his enlistment date, Seo In Guk promised to gift his fans with a new single which he released a day before he entered the military. The song, titled "Better Together," is said to be a dedication to all his supporters.
