KPop star Taecyeon of the boy group 2PM expressed his love and appreciation for his “Dream High” co-stars for their unwavering love and support during the premier night of his latest film “House of the Disappeared”.
The 28-year-old gave his heartfelt thanks to his friends Kim Soo Hyun, Eunjung, and Wooyoung for gracing up the premiere event despite their busy schedules. He also shared that the latter had given him compliments for a job well done in the film.
“I am thankful for Kim Soo Hyun and Eunjung coming to the event despite their busy schedules. They were only able to stay for the photos and did not have time to see the movie… Wooyoung was the only one who was able to stay for the entire movie. After he saw it, he told the director that my acting had gotten better. It was a humorous moment,” shared the 2PM member as quoted by Soompi.
Meanwhile, Taecyeon has been recently revealed to be among the top picks for the lead male role in the upcoming TV drama series “Save Me”. According to a report by Soompi, the Hallyu star will be portraying the role of a man who will be saving the life of a girl after hearing her cry for help.
As a response to the reports, the star’s talent management agency JYP Entertainment released an official statement saying, "We're reviewing his casting in 'Save Me' in a positive light," All KPop reported.
Taecyeon began his entertainment career in 2008 after joining the Mnet's search for the next boy band member program “Hot Blood Men”. He later among the member of the boy group 2PM alongside Jun. K, Nichkhun, Wooyoung, Junho, Chansung, as well as former leader Jay Park. In 2010, the singer-actor made his acting debut in the KBS drama series “Cinderella's Sister”.
