The members of 4minute recently had a mini reunion with all members present-except for one member. 4minute members Jiyoon, Sohyun, Jihyun and Gayoon had a get-together this week, but it was appears Hyuna was unable to attend.
Jiyoon took to social media to share a photo of her with the other 4minute members, allkpop reported. HyunA's absence stirred speculations of her falling out with the other members, but it appears that reason why she wasn't able to attend is that she's busy with her upcoming projects.
According to Koreaboo, HyunA is making a comeback with a co-ed trio called Triple H. Reports suggested that PENTAGON's main vocalist Hui and rapper E-Dawn are the other two members of the trio.
It was revealed that HyunA is excited to promote with the new group, and looking forward to show fans something they've never seen before.
Member Jiyoon previously clarified that there was no discord among members and that they continue to support one another to this day. The rumors first came up after fans noticed that 4minute's back up dancers continued to follow 4minute minutes even after their disbandment, except HyunA.
Meanwhile, the other former 4minute members are pursuing solo activities. Jihyun and Gayoon are focusing on their careers as budding actresses, while Jiyoon continued to promote as a solo singer. Jiyoon collaborated with Samuel Seo on the song "Cliché."
HyunA is still signed with Cube Entertainment, while the other four members did not renew their contracts. The group debuted in 2009 with the Japanese single "Muzik." They became a global K-pop force when they released "Hot Issue" in 2010. They disbanded in 2016 after 7 years together.
"Due to the different opinion of the members, for all intents and purposes, the group will disband," Cube Entertainment said in an official statement.
