Nintendo has announced to host its Nintendo Direct video presentation this Wednesday, April 12. The presentation will put the main focus on two popular games on Nintendo Switch, "Splatoon 2" and "ARMS."

Nintendo of America announced on Monday that it will schedule the Nintendo Direct video presentation on Wednesday. The company will stream the presentation through the company's website at 3:00 p.m. PT or 6:00 p.m. ET.

This week's Nintendo Direct presentation will provide the update information of the game console Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS with emphasize on two games, "Splatoon 2" and "ARMS." These two games are the highly anticipated games and each of them has unique characteristics.

"ARMS" is the new fighting game, which is predicted to start a new genre of fighting game. The players will employ the extendable arms with the motion control to punch, block and perform the various technique in martial arts to defeat the opponent. The game is slated to release in the second quarter of 2017, and owners of the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS have anticipated the game eagerly as reported by Game Spot.

While "Splatoon 2" is a third-person shooting game and the sequel of "Splatoon" which was released for Wii. "In Splatoon 2," eight players will be able to play in an online game using the four-against-four match. The new sequel will also have a tournament mode, which enables up to 10 Nintendo Switch console to connect and playing a tournament.

Nintendo Direct presentation will reveal the latest update of games that were announced in January, following the beta version of "Splatoon 2," which was released last month. The beta gave a sneak peek preview for owners of Switch and 3DS to have a hands-on experience on the game. While Nintendo has not released an update on "ARMS" after announcing the game in January, therefore fans anxiously wait for the update of the game.
