Amid the excitement about the impending release of "Pokemon GO," there are talks that the gameplay might be disappointing.
Based on a leaked nine-minute gameplay of the highly-anticipated augmented-reality game from Niantic and The Pokemon Company, N4BB noted that while players can make some customizations to the clothing, gender and facial features of his or her avatar, "it looks like you won't be able to battle wild Pokemon after all."
The report further revealed that to fight the other pocket monsters within an area, a player needs to visit a Gym and be part of a team - Red, Blue or Yellow.
By being part of a certain team while playing "Pokemon GO," the player can train his or her Pokemon to level up and become more fit to battle.
Considering this scenario for the upcoming game, N4BB pointed out that "The battles aren't like what we've seen in earlier versions of Pokemon game."
In the meantime, fans of the pocket monsters in the United States finally have the chance to experience the game as the beta version of "Pokemon GO" has been put released in the country.
Following its availability in the region, the Japanese augmented reality game is expected to gather more feedback from its US clients.
