Park Bo Young has found out that too much self-love can be a form of obsession. Similarly, the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actress realized the need to change her views on criticisms and compliments.
In a recent interview, the 27-year-old actress opened up how she always tries to meet the fans' expectations by changing herself.
"I think about whether my voice is too whiny or if any of my actions make them uncomfortable," Park Bo Young said as per Soompi. "When they tell me I always look the same when I cry, I think of ways to cry differently."
Apart from being sensitive to criticisms, the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" lead star is also worried about her reaction to compliments. Unlike others who would gladly acknowledge kind words from other people, Park Bo Young is rather skeptical when she personally gets them.
"When people compliment me, I don't put much meaning into them, but when they say bad things, I take them too seriously," the actress explained.
Despite her popularity, Park Bo Young admitted she has been trying to overcome this personality for quite some time now. She added that her obsession to hearing only good things has become an uphill battle that she needs to conquer.
"Personally, I think getting obsessed with yourself is the most dangerous thing. I only want to hear nice things, but I feel like I would just end up believing them and getting obsessed with myself. I don't want this to happen," she added.
Park Bo Young is currently enjoying the success of her recently concluded drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon." In fact, the actress dominated the latest ranking for brand value as per Allkpop.
