Park Bo Young is currently enjoying the success of her recent drama "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon." Aside from getting much attention for her acting and onscreen chemistry with Park Hyung Sik, the actress is winning the hearts of the fans for her beauty and simplicity.
Despite being branded as "every man's dream" by her co-actors, Park Bo Young refused to believe that her beauty is exceptional. Similarly, the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" named her girl crush in the industry.
"I saw Song Hye Kyo once and she was so pretty," she said as per Soompi. "She was bare-faced and I was wearing full makeup, yet she still looked prettier than me."
The actress went on, "After seeing her, I told myself that I should just focus on my acting. That's why I always work really hard [as an actress]."
In the midst of her immense popularity for the titular role in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," Park Bo Young acknowledged the fact these perks won't last a lifetime. In the earlier years of her career, the actress has experienced what it felt like to be famous.
Her 2008 drama "Scandal Makers" with Cha Tae Hyun earned Park Bo Young several awards and nominations. In fact, she won a total of eight Best New Actress awards for playing as Hwang Jeong Nam/Hwang Jae In.
Following the success of the romcom series, Park Bo Young experienced a slump after she was mired in legal disputes.
"After "Scandal Makers," I kept going down. I seriously thought my career was over. I'm really thankful for the popularity of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" but I know it's only temporary," she opened up.
Prior to her titular role in the JTBC series, Park Bo Young starred in "Oh My Ghostess" which won her a couple of Best Actress awards. Currently, the 27-year-old actress is dominating the latest ranking for brand reputation along with Park Hyung Sik.
