BTS has been receiving a lot of love around the world recently, and even big stars are taking notice of the seven-member group. Among those that praised BTS is PSY.
During the press conference for his comeback, PSY was asked to give an advice to BTS. According to allkpop, PSY said he is proud of BTS and that they are incredibly amazing.
PSY particularly praised BTS' work ethic, saying the members worked really hard to the point that it felt like their bones were going to break from dancing a lot. "They are worthy of close attention and I think they will continue to be," PSY said.
He jokingly added that he cannot give BTS any advice because he doesn't have the same visuals as that of the group. On a more serious note, PSY told BTS not to feel to feel pressure because their achievements are already so massive and far beyond what any Asian artist has achieved.
BTS is currently nominated at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards under the Top Social Artist category. The idol group is competing against Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Shawn Mendes and Ariana Grande.
BTS is the first ever K-Pop group to be nominated at the Billboard Music Awards, allkpop reports. However, PSY is the first Korean artist to receive a nomination. In fact he bagged a total of five nominations in 2013, including Best New Artist and Top Streaming Song for "Gangnam Style."
The group's agency has confirmed that they will be attending the 2017 Billboard Music Awards on May 21, which will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. It will be BTS first red carpet appearance in the United States.
