KPop star Hyuna has finally broken her silence and shared her thoughts on her band Triple H sharing the same name with a popular American professional wrestler in an interview.
The former 4minute member revealed that sharing the same name with Triple H does not seem to be a problem to her group at all. In fact, she even spilled that her band mates Hui and E’Dawn were a fan of the wrestling star since they were kids.
“He’s so famous that I don’t think he’ll find it a problem… Hui and E’Dawn both told me that they were fans of the wrestler Triple H since they were young,” said Hyuna as quoted by Soompi.
She continued: “At the time we debuted, when you typed ‘Triple H’ into the search engine, [the wrestler] came up first. But now, we come up first… I think if the pro wrestler and we both work hard in our own fields, we will have a positive synergy.”
Paul Michael Levesque, better known as Triple H, is one of the most successful wrestlers in the World Wrestling Entertainment history winning a total of 25 championships, including nine reigns as WWF/WWE Champion and five as WWE's World Heavyweight Champion. He is currently the Executive Vice President of Talent, Live Events and Creative for WWE.
Meanwhile, Triple H has once again caused disturbance among the viewers due to the provocative lyrics of its latest single “What’s Going On?” which states: “Last night we did enough. It's because we became one”. According to a review by KBS, the song is not suitable to be broadcasted to the public, All Kpop reports.
Triple H is composed of Pentagon members Hui and E'Dawn and Hyuna. Formed by talent management agency Cube Entertainment this year, the trio released their first extended play titled “199x” on May 1.
