There are speculations that the much-anticipated EXO and Yoo Jae Suk collaboration may not happen anytime soon, as there have been no updates about the joint project from the two parties.
According to Yibada, there is some conflict in the hectic schedule of both parties. The K-pop group's schedule is jammed up with promotions, music shows, CFs, and other activities. Meanwhile, Yoo Jae Suk has five programs to host to including Happy Together, Different Dreams, Infinite Challenge, Running Man, Same Bed, and Two Yoo Project Sugar Man.
However, fans should still keep their hopes high as the chances that the collaboration would happen is high. In fact, Baekhyun, one of EXO members, said during the group's press conference for their latest album EX'ACT that "We're currently planning the collaboration. We have a song ready. We want to do a performance with a song that's new and different from our songs."
"The song is really good. It's better than our song. I wanted to ask if we could use it as our title track instead," he said. "Yoo Jae Suk sunbaenim is very busy so we're just preparing among ourselves right now. We're just having fun preparing it together."
Meanwhile, EXO is also preparing for their third solo concert next month. According to SM Entertainment, the group's concert will be held on July 23, 24, 29, 30, and 31 at the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul.
