Song-Song fans were thrilled this week after the popular Descendants of the Sun couple Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo reunited at a fan meeting in Chengdu, China, on Friday, June 17.
Clad in a white shirt and denim skirt, the Full House actress greeted fans in Chinese and shared her surprise over the attendance of the fans during the meeting.
According to AllKpop, the actress said she still could not grasp the power of Song Joong Ki's popularity as many fans turned up to see him. "I knew about Song Joong Ki's popularity through the internet, and from articles. Seeing it in person makes me even more happy and excited," she said.
"It wasn't this exciting when Lee Kwang Soo appeared last week," Song Joong Ki responded.
Fans shrilled when Song Joong Ki said "It's also the first time that I am seeing Song Hye Kyo in China. Noona is so pretty."
During the fan meet, Song Hye Kyo talked about her first impression about Song Joong Ki. "I was greatly looking forward to meeting him, because a lot of people told me that Song Joong Ki is very nice. And of course, he didn't let down my high expectations."
"He was even better than the image I had in mind. During the shoot, I realized that he is a very sincere person. He is a cool friend," she said.
On several occasions, the actor was also spotted putting his arms around her. He also leaned on her shoulder and kissed her while holding a bunch of flowers, according to Movie News Guide.
The couple also participated in mini-games and interacted with their fans. Up to 6,500 fans reportedly attended the event.
