Blossom Entertainment, the agency of famous Descendants of the Sun couple Song Joong-ki and Song Hye Kyo, has finally spoken up about rumors that the actor chartered a plane for his partner during the on-screen couple's visit in Chengdu, China on Friday, June 17.
According to Yibada, a Taiwan news outlet reported that Joong-ki chartered a private plane for Song Hye Kyo to make it to their fan meeting in China. The couple allegedly left the country on that plane together. A photo of the alleged private plane has been making rounds over the Internet.
Fans have been in a state of frenzy over the news and the photo. However, Blossom Entertainment confirmed on Monday, June 20 that there was indeed a plane, but it was not chartered by Joong-ki but rather by the event organizers.
"The private plane was a special gift by the organizers and sponsors who was in charge of the fan meeting in China, which was meant for Song Hye Kyo," Blossom Entertainment's representative told MBN as translated by SongJoongKi_SG on Twitter. "We are not aware of the fact that Song Joong Ki had provided a private plane for Song Hye Kyo."
Meanwhile, Song Joong-ki successfully concluded his seventh fan meeting on Friday, June 17 with up to 6,500 fans witnessing the Song-Song couple exchange sweet gestures.
