An ex-werewolf is coming to Scream Queens.
Twilight alum Taylor Lautner has joined the cast of the FOX horror-comedy series in a regular role, according to Deadline.
Lautner will join Scream Queen in the upcoming second season as Dr. Cassidy Cascade, a doctor suffering from a strange medical condition. He will later become a suspect in a string of tragic happenings that will unfold in the hospital.
The move to add Lautner to the cast of Scream Queens comes after a new setting and storyline was announced for the second season. Instead of the school setting, the new season will be in a hospital where bizarre medical cases are under observation.
Lautner joins John Stamos, who will play the hospital's new head surgeon. Other returning cast members include Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michelle, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell, Billie Lourd and Niecy Nash.
Scream Queens premiered last fall on FOX, featuring special guest appearances from Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, and Chad Michael Murray. Its first season centered on sorority members whose lives are changed when a serial killer invades their campus and targets them.
The show was ranked as the number one comedy under the 18-34 demographic last fall on FOX.
With Season 2's A-list casting, Scream Queens is shaping to be another exciting series to look forward to this fall.
The sophomore season of Scream Queens will debut on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. on FOX.
