Ben and the gang will stay for another round of laughs as Freeform has renewed Baby Daddy for a sixth season, the cable network announced on Monday.
The upcoming season of the multi cam sitcom will have 20 episodes, including the series' 100th milestone episode.
"The lines between family and friends are so wonderfully crossed in Baby Daddy," Freeform Executive Vice President Programming and Development Karey Burke said in a statement. "You can always count on the Wheeler clan for a big laugh along with heartfelt moments."
Baby Daddy stars Jean-Luc Bilodeau, Tahj Mowry, Derek Theler, Melissa Peterman and Chelsea Kane. Dan Berendsen is the executive producer. The series follows the story of Ben, who is forced to become a father when his ex-girlfriend leaves a baby girl on his doorstep. To fulfill his daddy duties, Ben turns to his close friends and mother.
Freeform has revealed that in the upcoming sixth season of Baby Daddy, "Ben will remain on his quest to find the 'girl of his dreams' and Emma's new mom, while Danny and Riley figure out their future."
The renewal of Baby Daddy comes after a strong performance in terms of ratings. The most recent season of the show reached a total of 351,000 viewers and ranked sixth on Freeform's original scripted series.
There is no word yet on when the show will broadcast its landmark 100th episode, but it is expected to highlight a special storyline as other US multi cam sitcoms have done in the past.
