"Prison Break" Season 5 will run as a 10-episode mini-series, which will bring back Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller to reprise their roles as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows. They will team-up again to breakout from prison, but this time, the action is set to take place in Yemen.
The overall production, executive produced by creator Paul Scheuring and Dawn Olmstead, was shot in Morocco and in Vancouver, Canada. Joining Purcell and Miller in "Prison Break" Season 5's cast are Sarah Wayne Callies, Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper, Rockmond Duber and Paul Adelstein.
FOX has set "Prison Break" Season 5 to premiere sometime next spring, and before its official debut, the network is bringing the cast and crew at this year's Comic Con in San Diego, along with other new shows.
According to Deadline, fans and reporters who will attend the star-studded event will be able to watch some exclusive, never before seen from the upcoming fifth season. While "Prison Break" Season 5 is expected to center on the reunion of brothers Michael and Lincoln plus their strategy to break-out of jail, the series will also tackle controversial issues from our present time, specifically global terrorism.
Back in June, Purcell told Deadline that part of "Prison Break" Season 5's storyline will include ISIS and ISA.
