Disney recently announced that a sequel for their award winning movie "Frozen" is currently in the works, and since then, fans has been clamoring about speculations on what the upcoming movie would all be about.
Details about the sequel is being kept under wraps, although tons of speculations has been going around, and recent rumors suggest that "Frozen 2" would have a dark storyline.
According to HNGN, recent speculations suggest that Elsa would actually die in the film. Rumor has it that Elsa and Anna would be having problems and would eventually cause a rift between the relationship of the sisters. It is also said that Anna would find out that she's adopted, which is why she doesn't possess any magical powers. With that said, it will lead her to feel envious with Elsa's powers, and this envy would push Anna into killing her own sister.
The speculated storyline is very different compared to all Disney films, but since Disney is trying to reinvent the stories of their films, who knows maybe this is how "Frozen 2" would go down.
On a lighter note, another speculation suggest that the King of the Jungle, Tarzan, would be featured in "Frozen 2." If you've seen "Disney Theories," there's one theory that suggests Tarzan is the long lost sibling of Anna and Elsa.
It stated that Anna and Elsa's parents didn't die in the sea but they were casted off shore and was able to live in the jungle, where they had Tarzan; however, their parents were eventually killed by the jungle animals. The speculation claims that Tarzan would find his way home in Arendelle and be with his sisters.
In other news, Austalian Network News reported that speculations about Elsa's death started when Idina Menzel, actress who lends her voice for the character, gave out a statement which made fans believe that someone may actually die in "Frozen 2."
During the interview, Menzel stated "We are at story writing and they're working on it and I think I'm in it. That's all I know-unless maybe Elsa falls off an ice cliff and she dies in the first five minutes."
Disney hasn't confirmed any of the rumors, but fans surely wish that nobody dies in "Frozen 2."
"Frozen 2" is believed to premiere sometime in 2018.
