It seems that fans of "Descendants Of The Sun" just can't get enough of the KBS drama as many of them are asking to see more of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo. Amid reports that the popular Korean drama is set for a Season 2 in 2017, producer Seo Woo Sik laid down terms that needs to be done to push through for another season.
"While a lot of people can make an effort now, for a second "Descendants (Of The Sun)" to emerge, I believe there needs to be an independent organization within the broadcasting company. They need to make a system where projects can go on for extended periods of time," Soompi quoted Seo as saying.
The "Descendants Of The Sun" producer set documentary "Super Fish" as an example to explain what he wants to convey. "I was completely amazed when I saw that documentary. For the entire, extended time while it was in production, there must have been changes in management and people who were opposed to the project. They overcame all of that to bring the project to fruition," Seo said.
According to the producer, the Season 2 of the popular Korean drama should have the same approach, adding that "Descendants Of The Sun" season 2 should have a system that will focus on implementing a coordination to develop long-term projects instead of focusing entirely on the immediate outcome of the project.
Meanwhile, it is still unconfirmed whether "Descendants Of The Sun" Season 2 will still feature the same set of cast, as the network department head, Jung Sung Ho, revealed they are still uncertain if the sequel will still revolve around the story of a soldier or not, EcuNews reported.
Although this remains to be unofficial, fans of "Descendants Of The Sun" are still hoping to see Big Boss and Beauty for the Season 2.
