C&CO ENS, the agency handling South Korean actor Lee Jin Wook, shared a statement on his behalf as he reportedly wanted to share his words of appreciation towards the people who trusted him amid the sexual assault charge case made against him.
The label said that they sincerely appreciate the people who trusted Lee until the very end, and that he will now return to his daily life and to do his best in his career as an actor. They pointed out that they did not know what to feel because the media continued to report "false information provided by the plaintiff as if they were true," All KPop reported.
However, they tried their best to respond to the media, and ultimately, the actor was acquitted of all the charges. C&CO ENS and Lee said that they have proven that "truth wins against lies."
The statement ended with, "From now on, Lee Jin Wook will give his best to become an outstanding actor and will return the love through greater productions."
As for other reports, Lee reportedly lost a lot of money from the lawsuit. The 34-year-old reportedly lost 10 billion won worth of damages from the scandal he was part of, International Business Times reported.
Accordingly, it affected his future projects such as advertisement and promotional activities. It is unclear what were the projects of Lee affected by the scandal and if he will still be having projects after being acquitted of all the charges made against him.
The charges against Lee were made on July 15 after a woman, identified only as A, said that he molested her after they had a date.
