"Superstar K4" 2012 finalists Jung Joon Young and Roy Kim are said to be the next artists to pair up for web show "Celebrity Bromance." The two singers, who became friends since the Korean talent contest, reportedly started filming for the web show on Wednesday.
Allkpop revealed that Jung and Kim have done recording on Aug. 3 for their upcoming participation on "Celebrity Bromance." In addition, the two artists reportedly spent some time together in Mokpo, which might be part of the filming for MBC's web show.
Although these reports have not been verified as of posting, a photo uploaded by Jung might support the claims that the two artists are the next pair who will feature their closeness on "Celebrity Bromance." Both Jung and Kim were seen wearing tie-clip microphones in the photo uploaded by the former, as per Soompi.
Jung and Kim came across each other in 2012 after joining the Korean television talent show "Superstar K4," where Kim was declared as the winner and Jung as the third placer.
After the talent show concluded, the two artists continued their singing careers. Jung is currently the vocalist of Korean rock band Drug Restaurant, formerly called as Jung Joon Young Band (JJY Band), while Kim continued his music journey as a solo artist.
Meanwhile, MBC's "Celebrity Bromance" was launched in March through MBig TV channel on YouTube. The first pair to be featured in the web show were BTS member V and actor Kim Min Jae. An episode of MBC's web show runs for about 10-15 minutes. Aside from that, "Celebrity Bromance" comes with English subtitle to accommodate a larger audience.
