The neighbors of pop star Justin Bieber are being ordered by a judge to submit to psychological exam.

Bieber is the subject of case filed by his former neighbors accusing him of emotionally terrorizing them, Associated Press reported. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Holly J. Fujie ordered the lengthy psychological examinations against the petitioners Jeffrey and Suzanne Schwartz. The order came shortly after Bieber's legal representatives filed their petition to have the petitioners undergo psychological evaluation to satisfy their claims.

Said ordered examinations are vital to prove that the petitioners suffered severe emotional distress as a result of Bieber's actions toward them. Schwartzes camp protested that the 7-hour examination should not have been ordered.

The issues surrounding the case stems from Biebers' misdemeanor toward the couples' home in 2014. Bieber egged their Calabasas home and has since repaid them roughly $80,000 for damages. Likewise, Bieber has also completed probation in the vandalism and misdemeanor case filed against him.

Petitioners claim that the singer terrorized their family with "loud parties, drug use and aggressive driving when they were still neighbors. The couple alleged that the events gave them "headaches, stomachaches and insomnia."

On the other hand, the "Sorry" singer claims that there is no way that his ex-neighbors are still reeling from emotional damage from the said incident, Teen Vogue reported. Bieber, 22, had several brush-ins with the law before the said million dollar suit. In 2015, an Argentinian court ordered his arrest over an alleged assault case against him.

The singer has since apologized for his arrogant attitude and behavior.

"I didn't want to come off arrogant or conceited, or basically how I've been acting the past year, year and a half. I'm not who I was pretending to be," Bieber said in a Facebook video.
