Many reports surfaced that Prince's Paisley Park studio is going to be sold by Bremer Trust. Prince's estate contradicted such reports, saying that it is inaccurate. Although the estate requested permission for the sale of Prince's more than 20 properties on Friday, the studio is not included in the list.

Bremer Trust denied reports that it considers liquidation of the Paisley Park among other Prince's properties. Aside from being a recording studio, the place also served as the late singer's home, Time reported.

"Contrary to some media reports, Bremer Trust, the special administrator for the Prince Rogers Nelson estate, has no plans to sell either Paisley Park or the property referred to as the 'Purple Rain' house," Bremer Trust stated in a statement.

Paisley Park has enough space for a concert venue with bank vault built on the grounds. The place has been a mystery and fans of the "Purple Rain" singer cannot help but become curious. Some of which were given the privilege to get inside and watch the performance of their favorite musician, The Guardian reported.

It is not clear though why the recording studio complex was added to the list of Prince properties that Bremer Trust wanted to sell. The late singer has left many properties and the estate administrator wants to dispatch more than 20 of it estimated at $28 million. The money will be used to settle a tax bill amounting to $100 million or so that will be due next year of January.

As stated by Owen Husney, Prince's first manager, the late musician has plans of turning Paisley Park to become a Graceland-style universal space for his fans in the months leading to his unexpected passing away.

Fans from around the world congregate around the park to commemorate and pay tribute to their beloved idol. Prince died in April because of opioid overdose and was found inside the elevator in his own studio.

The sale of Prince's properties will generate a handsome amount that could offset or lessen the tax bill that is needed to be paid. Bremer Trust confirmed that Paisley Park is not included in the sale list as well as the Purple Rain house.
