According to Lifehacker, all Pokémon in the popular game are being categorized depending on the difficulty in catching them. So, if you are wondering why you haven't encountered a Charizard, it is because the said Pokémon is considered one of the hardest to catch alongside Venusaur, Blastoise and Dragonite with 4 percent base capture rate.
Magikarp are being categorized as the easiest to catch in "Pokémon GO" with 56 percent base capture rate followed by Oddish with a base capture rate of 48 percent, while Caterpie, Pidgey, Rattata and Weedle have 40 percent base capture rate.
On the other hand, catching legendary Pokémon like Mew, Mewtwo, Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos would almost be impossible as these Pokémon currently have 0 percent base capture rate.
It is safe to admit that the Nintendo-owned game have reached the peak of its popularity after it was named as the biggest mobile game in the United States, as per SurveyMonkey; however, the popular game reportedly caused a number of unfortunate incidents including shootings, stabbings, injuries and accidents after it hit the market.
USA Today listed some alarming incidents that are being linked to the popular game. According to the news agency, an 18-year-old "Pokémon GO" player in Guatemala was shot and killed after he reportedly broke into a house to catch a Pokémon, while a girl was stabbed by a group of attackers who tried to rob her while playing "Pokémon GO" at 2 in the morning.
"Pokémon GO" was initially released in some countries last month and has been lauded for its unique concept. Although there are technical issues that need to be fixed, the popular game reportedly has been downloaded by over 100 million users from across the globe.
