The final episode of "Bleach" features an unexpected ending to the manga, although fans will be glad that it does not exactly close its doors to future projects. Chapter 686 opens with the face of a boy with orange hair, akin to Ichigo's, but this one has big, round, gentle eyes. From here, readers can already expect that he has something to do with the rest of the story.
In the previous chapter reported on Asia Stars News, Rukia was being promoted as captain of Gotei 13 when reiatsu that was like Ywach's 10 years ago was detected. In the finale, Byakuya and others try to find out what is emitting it. Captain Miyuri is already at the scene where a black blob is beginning to take shape.
Meanwhile, Rukia and Renji go straight to Earth after the ceremony to see Ichigo, and they are welcomed by almost everyone, including Keigo, Mizuiro, Tatsuki, and Ichigo's sisters. They are getting ready to watch Chad on television for his next boxing match. Uryuu, meanwhile, takes the time off from his medical duties at the hospital to watch Chad's match on his phone.
Ichigo asks Orihime, who is taking her apron off, where Kazui is, and she tells him that he is upstairs. He then asks the two visitors where their kid is, and Rukia tells him that she is now a Gotei apprentice so she is somewhere in the human world.
In the bedroom, the boy finds an interesting black blob the size of a ball and reaches out to touch it. In Soul Society, the Shinigami are pulling back from the gigantic blob. Then, the boy grabs the one in the room, making its gigantic counterpart in Soul Society vanish, to the astonishment of the captains.
Aizen, still in his cell, feels the last remnants of Ywach's power vanish and recalls what happened a decade previously. The latter was telling Ichigo that the present world, Hueco Mundo, and Soul Society were meant to become one, and he was going to make a world without fear of death, but Ichigo ruined all his efforts.
Behind the boy, a girl appears who introduces herself as Abarai Ichika, a Shinigami apprentice. The boy introduces himself, too, and says his name is Kurosaki Kazui and, sheepishly, tells her that he's a kind of Shinigami, too. His is donning a black cloak with a sword sheathed on his back. It ends with Ichika recognizing and, seemingly, fearing the blade.
According to Kotaku, a "Bleach" live-action film is said to be in the pipeline and mangaka Tite Kubo will reportedly be helping in the production.
