The call sheet for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" was reportedly leaked, confirming more villain roles and connection to "Captain America: The First Avenger."
The "Spider-Man: Homecoming" call sheet, which surfaced online via Reddit but has since been deleted, confirms that apart from Michael Keaton as Vulture and Micheal Chernus as the Tinkerer, there will be another villain for the film. The sheet reveals that "Fargo" actor Bokeem Woodbine will join the ensemble, playing the supervillain Herman Schultz a.k.a "The Shocker," Comic Book Movie reported.
For the faculty casting, "Orange is the New Black" star Selenis Leyva will be playing Ms. Warren, comedian Hannibal Buress will be playing Coach Wilson, Martin Starr will play Mr. Harrington and singer/actor Tunde Adebimpe will be Mr. Cobwell. Furthermore, the cast also includes Kenneth Choi, the actor who played the role of Howling Commando Jim Morita in "Captain America: The First Avenger."
Fan theories suggest that Choi's role is to play Jim Morita's grandson in the present timeline of the MCU. According to the information presented, the leak is for a scene set in Midtown High School with Peter Parker (Tom Holland) and Zendaya who is referred to as "Michelle," Screen Rant reported.
Another interesting name on the call sheet is Angourie Rice, who is listed as Betty Brandt. In the comic books, Brandt is Peter Parker's co-worker at the Daily Bugle who eventually married Ned Leeds, the character to be played by Jacob Batalon in the upcoming film.
Marvel's "Spider-Man" made its debut in "Captain America: Civil War." The solo film is underway and is slated for release on July 7, 2017.
