Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has reportedly arrived at Manchester City on Tuesday afternoon for his medical ahead of a rumored £17 million move to the English Premier League side later this week.

BBC Sport reported that the 33-year-old Chile international "flew into Manchester on Tuesday afternoon" for a medical at the Etihad as City head coach Pep Guardiola is eyeing him to replace unwanted shot stopper Joe Hart.

"I cannot deny what everyone knows," Guardiola said when asked about the potential Bravo move. "The deal is not complete. After I will answer about a player who at the moment is not our player."

The 29-year-old Hart, who had been City's number one for more or less a decade, has fallen out of favor in Guardiola's system since the Spanish mentor arrived this summer and is advised to find his own club before the window ends on Sep. 1.

The Englishman has not appeared in the Citizen's first two Premier League fixtures and in one Champions League match but is reportedly set to start in the second leg Champions League qualifier match against Steaua Bucharest at home on Wednesday.

La Liga team Sevilla and Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund are said to be interested in acquiring Hart's services this season, but the England international "does not want to move" to any of the two clubs.

Everton earlier expressed their attraction to Hart but have cooled off because of the good early season form of current starting keeper Maarten Stekelenburg.

Meanwhile, Daily Mail Online revealed that Barcelona had made a last-minute attempt to keep Bravo at the Nou Camp with a salary increase proposal, but the "Chilean had already set his heart on joining" City and had "turned down" the offer.

Bravo's decision to leave Barça had reportedly "upset" manager Luis Enrique as he wants the 6-foot Viluco, Chile native to "stay at the club as first-choice league keeper, with Marc Andre Ter Stegen remaining as Champions League and Copa del Rey keeper".

With the Blaugrana's board of directors fully aware of Enrique's appeal, they tried to lure Bravo back with a pay rise bid. However, the keeper's decision is firm to accept the bigger City deal.
