Actor Ezra Miller who plays the role of Barry Allen, debuts his role as "The Flash" in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" as well as in "Suicide Squad" cameos. His full speed is being anticipated to be seen on the giant screen. Rumors said that the speedy hero will be facing an entourage of villains.
The speedy hero is yet to face another lineup of villainous characters starting off with Dr. Alchemy or the dragster Savitar. One of them was seen as the hooded character in the teaser. In the comic illustration of Dr. Alchemy, he always wears a hood while Savitar on the other hand had a cult. These two primary rogues will make their debut in Season 3.
According to Todd Helbing, "The Flash" executive producer, "Savitar is more of a psychological villain in a weird way. I think the Hindu word for Savitar means God of Speed; he's all about speed. Everything about this guy is different. I can't go into super detail, but he's not like Zoom or Reverse Flash," Den of Geek reported.
In addition to the above-mentioned enemies, it was reported that 'The Flash" might be dealing with a whole team of villains called The Rogues. These nefarious characters will do their thing to impede the fastest hero. In the comics, Captain Cold leads the squad consisting of Captain Boomerang, Heat Wave, Mirror Master, Pied Piper, the Top, Trickster, and Weather Wizard, as reported by Heroic Hollywood.
Executive producers Aaron and Todd Helbing stated that Mirror Master's origin will be discussed in episode 304 and will score Wentworth Miller's return as Captain Cold. Miller is the current primary DC TV actor to strike a unique deal that enables him to be a series recurrent every time there is CW superhero event.
"The Flash" will be appearing again in "Justice League" to be shown on November 17, 2017. The big day for "The Flash" himself is slated on March 16, 2018.
