The landmark episode of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 is getting beefed-up. TV Line reported the series has tapped Sarah Carter to reprise her role as Lynda Downey, Steve's romantic interest in the milestone hour. The actress, whose recent TV credits include "Falling Skies" and "Rogue," will join Michelle Borth and Christine Lahti as guest stars.
Viewers was first introduced to Lynn in "Hawaii Five-0" Season 6 and briefly resurfaced in one Valentine-themed episode of the series. No word yet on how Carter's character will figure into Season 7's storyline.
In other "Hawaii Five-0" news, CBS on Wednesday has revealed the official plot details of the Season 7 premiere. According to the press release shared by the Futon Critic, here's what will go down in the season opener: "When the bodies of two serial killers are found on Five-0 property with chess pieces in their mouths, McGarrett and the team hunt for a vigilante as fear grows that tourists aren't safe in Hawaii."
The episode titled, "Makaukau 'oe e Pa'ani?" will feature the guest appearances of Rosalind Chao as Governor Keiko Mahoe, Julie Benz as Inspector Abby Dunn, Taylor Willy as Kamekona and Dennis Chun as Sgt. Duke Lukela, Shawn Wayne Thompson as Brian Grant among others.
"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 premieres on Friday, Sept. 23 at 9PM on CBS.
