Block B member Zico was forced to share about his relationship with AOA member Seolhyun on the recent episode of "Radio Star" broadcasted Wednesday. The singer-rapper revealed he was unaware the dating rumors would broke swiftly.
According to Zico, no one called him to inform about the dating rumors; however, his colleagues have been telling him about his leaked photos. "I felt shocked that the news broke suddenly even though I knew that it would be leaked one of these days," Allkpop quoted Zico as saying.
The Block B member went on, "A public relationship could be harder on the woman so I think it's only right for me to be more careful with everything that I do." He revealed he was in Japan when the dating rumors hit the publications, adding that he was flustered upon learning about it.
Prior to the interview, Zico has somehow addressed the issue during a performance at the 2016 Nike Unlimited Korea. Some of the lyrics of his rap song seemed to describe the photos released by Dispatch amid controversy with Seolhyun, Koreaboo reported.
Aside from that, the rapper is also sending a message to his fans through the rap song, "There's something you guys should be paying more attention to than my personal life. You guys act like it's your right to know about it all, but then again, you guys are all the bosses of this country, right? You should know."
The dating rumors of Zico and Seolhyun made headlines when photos of the two idols circulated on the internet. The issue was later confirmed by their respective agencies who said both artists found comfort in each other while going through ordeals. The agencies also asked the fans to respect and support the decision of Zico and Seolhyun.
