Talking about his secret behind his grand shows, PSY revealed that he makes sure to include all sorts of "ridiculous antics" to keep his fans entertained.
The 38-year-old singer was speaking at SBS' "One Night Of TV Entertainment" when he talked in depth about his being called upon as "performance God" of the music industry.
"I believe performances can be likened to the services industry," said the "Gangnam Style" hitmaker. "I treat every performance like I'm treating customers."
PSY also touched upon the controversy regarding his infamous covers of girl group songs that is being slammed by several civic groups when he declared that cross dressing has becoming more difficult with each passing year and is a risky affair now as an entertained often tends to ruin himself by the act.
The singer, who is known for his bizarre dance moves and scandalous videos, triggered a backlash when he performed a new song at his concert in Olympic Gymnastics Stadium in Seoul on Dec. 28.
At the concert, PSY gyrated in a pair of very small shorts, a yellow shirt and pneumatic fake breasts among his team of dancers who appeared to be dressed as Korean military officers.
At one point of time, the singer even got on his all fours to crawl on stage while several women danced around him. But the most scandalous moment came when he was lifted by the dancers and fire started exploding from his fake breasts. Unfortunately, one malfunctioned, leaving him lopsided, Dailymail reported.
The video of the concert has gone viral and is drawing mixed response. While many YouTube users slammed PSY for his bizarre stage antic, many praised the Korean sensation, caling him "Korean Miley Cyrus."
Bizarre or not, PSY seems to be gaining worldwide popularity with his each release. While his "Gangnam Style" remains most watched YouTube Video since its release in 2012, he has has been recently announced as the winner of the CICI 2016 Image Of Korea Award, News Joins reported. The award is normally awarded to the personality for promoting and influencing the spread of Korean culture globally.
